Water Survival Swim Classes
Before little swimmers hop aboard the Swim Express Train and travel to different stations, they need strong water survival skills!
Our Water Survival Swim Classes are offered May through August based on community demand. These classes are at a special rate and are specially designed for young children who need to build essential water safety and survival skills before progressing to independent swimming and stroke refinement.
These are “Baby & Me” style classes, meaning a parent or guardian joins their child in the water for guided instruction and bonding time.
Ages: 6 months – 3 years
Prerequisite: Child must be at least 6 months old. An adult must accompany the swimmer in the water.
Build confidence. Learn safety. Start the journey. 🚂💦
Beginner Station
Swim Classes
Ready to level up? In Levels 1 and 2, swimmers grow their confidence and skills while having fun in the water! We focus on becoming more comfortable, finding strong body position, mastering big breaths, and swimming farther with control and confidence.
Every class builds independence, strength, and water smarts — one splash at a time!
Prerequisite: Swimmer must be able to jump in and independently kick on their back to the wall.
Intermediate Station Swim Class
All aboard for stronger strokes! At this station, swimmers dive into freestyle and backstroke with a focus on building power, rhythm, and smooth technique.
We break down each stroke step-by-step, using fun drills and skill challenges to strengthen muscles, improve coordination, and fine-tune breathing. Swimmers will learn how to move through the water with more confidence, control, and speed — all while having a blast!
Prerequisite: Swimmer must be able to take at least two consecutive side breaths independently while swimming and be a Level 3 or 4 swimmer.
Advanced Station Swim Classes
At the Advanced Station, swimmers train like future competitors while refining powerful strokes and sharpening technique. We focus on breaststroke and butterfly, build endurance through cardio swimming, and level up skills like treading water, flip turns, and timed swims.
Expect focused drills, challenging sets, and high-energy workouts designed to strengthen technique, speed, and stamina. This station is perfect for swimmers preparing for pre-competition or looking to take their skills to the next level.
Prerequisites:
Swimmer must be able to:
Perform freestyle arms
Roll onto their back and kick independently
Submerge face in the water, roll to back, and breathe
Begin in a back float and kick continuously
Designed for Advanced Swimmers to push themselves and rise to the challenge.
